There are almost innumerable things I could have included in this graph, and maybe I'll make a version with many of them, but I didn't want to assign too homework. The point is to demonstrate how recent these events are.

To be clear: the Windows Huion drivers are also ass. It was like a 50/50 if they were going to work for me on any given day.

Capitalists please explain to me how proprietary software with the full force of a profit driven company behind it can't keep up with free and open source.

Real talk: the Huion drivers on Linux are kind of ass. They still don't work with Wayland (translation: they haven't kept up with the times) and they don't event detect my tablet half the time.

Meanwhile Open Tablet Driver is out here working perfectly.

You're an enabler

I know I'm in deep because I'm contemplating getting another hard drive just to mess around with different Linux distributions.

Why stop at dual boot? What if I went triple boot? Or q u a d r u p l e b o o t 😈

Tbh I think trying out another distro is going to be a good thing - it will give me first hand experience with something other than Pop that I might be able to recommend to people going forward.

As much as I love Pop I'm not sure it's the best choice for everyone, even once it's in a better state.

I adore Pop_OS! And everything they're trying to do with the Cosmic DE, but drawing tablet support is still completely broken in Cosmic, making the latest version of Pop unuseable for me as an artist.

Gonna hop over to Kubuntu for the time being, but hopefully this isn't goodbye forever.

I painted this a long time ago, but this movie is often on my mind.

As they look at even more art, they get overwhelmed: "They're so many... Why am I even trying...?"
