You're probably right. I thought maybe a given governor would have enough nat'l guard troops. But even deploying any in a public way might make the FBI stay away. Would certainly alert the public to be on guard with cameras ready.

I've been comforted by the "fed has no authority over states voting" argument, but no more. If Bondi will send the FBI in to seize ballots, all trust in the results is gone. And just a few locations puts the whole election into question. 1/3

Okay, so now we see the plan: ICE tactics cause backlash, which provides pretext for insurrection act, which allows troops on the streets, which is how they'll control/ban elections.

I'm reminded that the real culprit in every awful thing that’s happening in our country is congress/Republicans. We tend to blame Trump, and rightly so. But Republicans could stop ALL of it in a heartbeat if they wanted to. It’s ultimately all on them. I hope voters have that in mind come November.
