Ah that’s good to hear. Cheers!
Thanks so much -hope you are liking it (assuming you got past the first line!)
What a terrifying name for a hospital ward…
I’ve started driving right over the top of roundabouts, if they have a flag painted on them. Saves me minutes every day. Thanks guys!
No, it did not have a roof, which was unusual (and odd, given the Scottish weather!)
Fun fact on this Wimbledon Men’s Final Day:
The world’s oldest tennis court can be found at Falkland Palace in Scotland.
It was built by King James V in 1539 and is still used to this day.
(James features in The Dance of Vipers but there is no tennis, I’m afraid).
Ha - thanks Eric. Hope you like it!
You can buy The Dance of Vipers (either paperback or ebook) here:

Woohoo. My second novel is out today. The Dance of Vipers is a thriller set in Scotland 1517, with a bunch of viperous traitors competing to seize the 5-year-old king. It’s a sequel to The Trail of Blood but can be read as a standalone.
Anyway, will post the link in thread. X
I feel seen
Starmer and Lammy can fuck off with their pretence of frustration with Israel when they encouraged them to commit war crimes from day one and are actively assisting them now.

‘Labour is deserting me’: disabled people fear impact of Pip changes
Yesterday David Lammy was unequivocal that Israel is breaking international law. Today No 10 contradicts that and says it is merely “at risk of breaching” the law. It is an extraordinary position to put the Foreign Secretary in - who will now have to say why he was wrong, or why No 10 is wrong.
At the heart of every attack on disability benefits is the myth disabled people “get perks”: a free car, loads of cash, a life off work. It misrepresents the reality of disability, whilst exploiting low wages and high living costs to make the public envy people in daily pain.
👀
Fair point.
Glad we agree on beckoning though.
Now you’re making me think of other questions like can there be short-haired mermaids? I really need to get back to work…
This sign means: “Come in, the water’s lovely and we’re having a party!”
