No joke: we (in our 40s) just cashed out a retirement fund, paid the early-withdrawal fees, and are using it to take the kids to Disney before WWIII really gets going.

We're never going to be able to retire, so what did that money matter? Give the kids a great vacation and create lasting memories!

It's been a while since I've listened, but "99% Invisible" always earned its status as a classic. It's ostensibly an architecture and design podcast, but they've been on so long that they branched out into all sorts of topics, approaches with the same methodical edutainment style.
