Went to pilates this morning, and found it interesting to see everyone hunched over their phones on their mats waiting for the class to start. The need to fill every spare moment with screen time. No break from the constant scroll. I dunno, it just made me feel rather sad.

Had this same reaction seeing Leto’s involvement, just urgh. Love the soundtrack and visuals. Michael Sheen’s Bowie-esque inspired Zuse/Castor in Legacy was an absolute favourite, hoping he reprises the role in Tron: Ares. Super excited for NIN scoring this one as well 🖤

Just finished “Legends & Lattes” by Travis Baldree. A soothing, cozy, heartwarming read that was exactly what my soul needed. I used to read a lot of dystopian sci-fi but given well *gestures wildly at everything* I’ve needed to take a break from that genre for a bit. This was a lovely read 📖

Completely - the “get with the times” mentality oversimplifies what barriers actually exist in adoption of tech. Poverty, and/or accessibility to it (e.g many smaller communities in Canada often lack the infrastructure) among other reasons, will always warrant a need for analogue options.

This. Absolutely this. My elderly neighbour was in a panic as the hospital sent them a letter in the mail with a QR code to forms needed before their radiation treatment. They had no idea what a QR code was or what to scan it with. No other option provided either. So exclusionary & illogical.
