She currently lives in Italy, where she has begun hormone therapy, and now presents herself as a woman. She instituted proceedings before the Bulgarian courts seeking a declaration that she is a female person and to have her civil status data amended on her birth certificate. Despite the medical opinions and legal assessments confirming the gender identity claimed, her request was rejected. According to national legislation, as interpreted by the plenary assembly of civil chambers of the Bulgarian Supreme Court of Cassation, the term ‘sex’ must be understood in its biological sense, excluding any amendment of the particulars relating to sex, name and identification number. The public interest, based on the moral and/or religious values of Bulgarian society, thus prevails over the interests of transgender persons. Hearing the dispute, the Bulgarian Supreme Court of Cassation has doubts as to the compatibility of that legislation with EU law and has referred the matter to the Court of Justice. In its judgment, the Court holds that EU law precludes legislation of a Member State which does not permit the amendment of the gender data in the civil status registers of one of its nationals who has exercised his or her right to move and reside freely in another Member State. The Court emphasises first of all that, while the issue of identity documents falls within the competence of the Member States, they must exercise that competence in compliance with EU law...

Today I fixed an electronic device by opening the case, taking it apart as much as possible, giving all the components a stare and putting it back together.
I couldn't see any problems in the components or in the way they were put together, so I have no idea why this helped. 🤷‍♂️

When I did my civil service a truck like that (in red!) was my daily car. It was super fun to drive and I loved discovering all the places I could easily drive to where other cars wouldn't fit.

Yesterday we were at the weekly "parents of kids with ADHD" training again.
The more we learn and the more we do exercises where we reflect our own behavior and our kids behavior in difficult situations the more I'm convinced that everyone should go to therapy before having kids.

Für mich ist es schon ein absolut mieses Gefühl zu wissen wie meine direkten Nachbar*innen denken aber ich sehe dass es auch Gebiete gibt in denen das anders ist.
Es muss noch unglaublich viel schlimmer sein wenn diese positiven Gegenbeispiele komplett fehlen.

Ich bin nicht überrascht in meinem Wahlbezirk die AfD als stärkste Kraft bei 31,8% Erststimmen und 30,3% Zweitstimmen zu sehen.
Ich bin trotzdem enttäuscht und wütend.

Dass auf dem zweiten Platz die Grünen statt der CDU liegen rettet dann auch nichts mehr.

Die grüne CDU gewinnt also knapp vor der schwarzen CDU, gefolgt von blauen Faschos.

Das die FDP vermutlich raus ist, ist nur ein Zuckerstück in einem haufen Scheiße.

Bleibt also vermutlich alles wie vorher. Nur mit etwas mehr Bauchschmerzen.

Ich bin es leid heute überall von „Power-Frauen“ zu lesen, die so „stark“ sind und „alles schaffen“.

Frauen und Queers sind erschöpft. Sie sind müde. Sie sind wütend.

Hört auf zu glauben, dass sie die Dinge, die tagtäglich auf sie einprasseln, schon irgendwie ertragen, weil sie so „stark“ sind.
