I think I'm also aware that if I see a lot of Graham Norton clips when I fall down the YouTube Shorts/Reels rabbit hole.

What next? Breaking news that bears are Catholic and the Pope shits in the woods?
I think the chat show was, in 1997 or whatever, the only place to see & hear celebs.
Now, you go on Tick-Tock or the The Rest Is The Diary of An Experience Show with its 73-min interview discussing their childhood, promoting harissa as an epilepsy cure and a new book, On Harissa: Tyler McFamous.
Screenshot of a Youtube comment @jgm1138 12 years ago There is a funny story about this video. A very good friend of mine would wait for the the Kilroy intro before leaving for work so that he would be there on time. So this was mentioned to another friend who recorded them over a period of time and gifted as a birthday present to my other friend It became a legend, and was stuck in a loft/ attic for many years until he moved his stuff out of his parents. Tape was found, converted by me and uploaded for all to see. Glad everyone is enjoying it. 244 ๐๐พ
If only there was somebody with legal experience in government
How the hell is this still an issue? Years and multiple different governments have kicked the can down the road, probably hoping everyone just dies off and it goes away.
That people still have convictions and havenโt received any compensation is a fundamental disgrace.
100%.

The results of the Six Nations so far from the official app. It's a very long scrolling screenshot covering about 4-5 screens
AI has its issues but it is almost comically difficult to find simple representations of stuff like this.
I reckon if she puts her mind to it, she can reach number one in the polls if "one" is her voting intention percentage
It's like he doesn't even get his haircut at his local Turkish barber or the one next to it or the one across the road
The Naked Now or Code Of Honor?
intuitively coherent to a target voter. I get that some of this is opprtunitistic but what would be helpful in flipping the 61000+ voters is if they could intuit what it is the Lib Dems believe from the national messaging (as they could with Ashdown and Kennedy examples in the pamphlet).
(if we're including Charlie Kennedy going on HIGNFY) do need to highlight the sort of message that fit within Lib Dem philosophy, can win over Con-Lib voters and are still eye-catching.
I'm unclear how "Brummie Dept for Growth" and "don't put the beaver who murdered Churchill on the fiver" are
within the strategy outlined by you and Jim. I appreciate I get my news in a weird way (often through Bluesky) but now I'm considerably less politically active, most of that is not through Lib Dem channels and little of it covers the Lib Dems.
I actually think "stunts" aren't bad but those stunts
To be honest the number of seats is about what I thought it would be although I hadn't really put 2+2 together re: you only need to flip a relatively modest number of seats for halcyon days of a Lib Dem opposition.
It's just, even if this is true, I'm unclear how the current national messaging fits
I've put a bet on a couple of times mostly just to see what the experience was like. It was fine but a suffice it to say, I don't think I'm likely to get an addiction.
I was going to argue with you until I realised the things I immediately thought of did actually have downsides. I'd just acknowledged them in my head and still decided the policies were a good idea but that's not the same as there being no downsides.
and I'm unconvinced that is what Ed Davey has succeeded in doing. It rather feels like fairly random messages in the hope the press find one of them entertaining enough to run with it.
may not work (although I'm fairly sure if done pragmatically, it could). But for me the issue isn't so much the absence of a liberal message as the absence of any message.
No, national vote doesn't matter but picking a message which works in both current, target and development seats is important
and Starmer isn't going to scare Con-Lib swing voters into voting Tory" worked as did the second prong "just let them know I exist".
But I think the question then arises...where next? How do you get the next tranche of second places?
I take the point that putting pro-Europeanism front-and-centre
I do think this sort of depends on how you look at it. Part of the reason Ed Davey's strategy worked is because of how many second places Jo Swinson achieved in 2019. Correct me if I'm wrong but the number of second places is now very low.
To be fair to him, his strategy of "the Tories are garbage
With almost every passing hour Tony Blairโs calls for U.K. - and Starmer - to fully commit to US and Israelโs war in Iran looks more deranged
As somebody who's been almost exclusively bare-below-the-elbows in hospitals, I had a bunch of consultant-type non-clinical meetings and I wore a watch and it felt very naughty.
Shut up, no I don't need get out more leave me alone.
