Another top day, an early start with GS & a fine flock of 14 Whoopers, & a singing Chiffchaff at St. Margaret's Marsh. Then up at Lochore MCP, another singing Chiffchaff, Great Spot & Green Woodpeckers, Teal & a mixed flock of Pinkfeet & Greylags. Afternoon back at Inverkeithing & 2 WBD's.

Thanks Paul, yes the 3rd. We have had 1-3 WBD for 20 days now, just hope they stay a bit longer to moult into breeding plumage.

Not noticed this behavour, when they surface with a flat fish the Herring Gulls try to steal it.

Another couple of trips to Inverkeithing & three White-billed Divers were seen in the morning, a return to Inverkeithing Harbour in the afternoon really payed of with great views of two birds.

Two White-billed Divers still present, between Inverkeithing & Carlingnose Point this morning, then one closer to Inverkeithing harbour, the other much more distant in front of Inchmickery Is.
One moulting Scandinavian Pipit at St. Margret's Marsh this pm.

I had two visits to Inverkeithing today. I walked to Port Laing twice but didn't manage to see the 2 reported WBD, the highlight was a fine Peregrine, new for my 25k list = 121
I was managed to see a White-billed Diver off Inverkeithing harbour.
