Looking forward to reading!
This is SO good!
This is lovely!
Above and beyond, thank you!!
I genuinely appreciate it! Iβll buy the film from whatever digital platform will let me as soon as I can. I hope youβre not going to too much trouble, thanks a million.
Thank you! Thatβs incredibly sweet.
Yes, absolutely, masterpiece is the word! That's such a wonderful response, thanks Melanie! I'm so glad you enjoyed the episode.
I was on the fence about this, but when I saw the Klingon variant cover I was utterly sold. I just pledged!
That's very kind! I'm in South Korea but also have access to the UK iTunes store and Amazon UK. I'm not seeing it anywhere.
Devastated to report that it isnβt on any of the global platforms yet, seems to be region-locked to the US right now. Hopefully thatβll change soon.
Thatβs so kind. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
Listening to the episode again, you really were so joyful throughout, Jenn. Every pick filled with delight and mirth, Iβm so glad we did this together.
Yeah heβs so full of gravitas in this sequence.
Who could think youβre trolling, I full-heartedly LOVE this pick, itβs inspired!
Your review has just persuaded me to get this now digitally rather than waiting for a hypothetical physical release. Will be watching imminently!
Oh excellent picks! Love that Space Adventure Hour is there, and your #1 is absolutely brilliant, Iβd have never thought of that moment.
It was such a joy, and a massive privilege, to get to gush about my favourite character in the best possible way!
Itβs always fantastic being on TrekRanks, and this was a *very* special one for me. Jim and Jenn were on amazing form with their picks, and the conversation couldnβt have been more fun. The perfect way to celebrate the lovable titan that is Montgomery Scott!
Thanks Michael, hopefully it'll be worth the wait!
The new Kikiβs Delivery Service poster for its impending IMAX re-release in North America is spectacular. I love that theyβve used one of Yoshifumi Kondoβs pieces of concept art rather than a still from the film. I need this framed and on my office wall!
Commander Zeeren Kelrec, Chancellor of the War College, briefing cadets as the USS Miyazaki appears behind him.
Weirdly thrilled to see a ship named the USS Miyazaki in this week's episode of Starfleet Academy! It's nice to know there are some Studio Ghibli fans in the Federation of the distant future (and reciprocally, I did manage to sneak a Star Trek reference into my book on Kiki's Delivery Service).
I don't think you should be selling that Ghibli coloring book. It's unlicensed and self-published, with suspiciously zero credited artists.
Putting those takeaway containers to good use!
Yes! It's one of the greatest finales ever. I love how they used Sonya Gomez in this one, it's got Mike McMahan's creative fingerprints all over it.
Karim DianΓ© as Jay-Den Kraag, the only Klingon Cadet at Starfleet Academy.
This weekβs Starfleet Academy offers a beautiful story of a warriorβs ongoing journey to self-actualization, and one of Star Trekβs best Klingon episodes in decades. What weβre getting with Jay-Den Kraagβs character development is already on a par with Maβahβs superb arc on Lower Decks.
Congratulations! That's fantastic, I'm really happy for you!
Yes! I had a professor who was *so* excited to screen some of Bubblegum Crisis: Tokyo 2040 as "lesbian cyberpunk" and the show should've fully committed. I still weirdly love that iteration of BC, though.
