A wee bit of pink and purple methinks π
A wee bit of pink and purple methinks π
Yup!
Totally agree. Except this time, we Brits aren't participating in this madness.
Indeed!
Everything's just turned a corner, this side of the pond.
Wowzers! π»
What a beauty π€©
Then she admits it's a war crime!
Hi Gaby π
Spring as definitely sprung.
We've had such atrocious weather recently. Wettest Jan and Feb I've experienced. We suddenly pop into March, and it's like someone's switched the sun on. Such a relief.
Hope all is well down your way π
Rose 'New Dawn' bloom.
Morning all π
It looks like it's going to be another OK day today. Cloudy with a hint of sunshine, but at least no incessant rain.
This lovely beauty is Rosa 'New Dawn' πΉ

Brilliant song!
The scary thing is I actually remember watching this on Top of the Pops. πΊ
Photos of a window box and planter with a mix of spring flowers.
I replanted the window boxes and the planter in the front garden.
A mix of primroses, Bellis daisies, pansies (not flowering yet), plus Ranunculus bulbs.
Central to each bed is a specimen of Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve' to add structure and interest

Scilla sibirica in flower
Today is the first day of Meteorological Spring (true spring - the equinox isn't until March 20th).
To celebrate, here's a shot of one of my lovely Scilla siberica bulbs in flower.
As they say...
"I've got Squills, they're multiplyin'"
I'll get my coat π€£
Yes, all good and very busy designing gardens.
I do need to post more on here, mind you π
A collage of Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve', Ranunculus flowers, and a black and white cat.
I've been shopping π
Got some smashing Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve' specimens, plus a nice set of Ranunculus bulbs.
Young Tilly, on the other hand, didn't seem too impressed πββ¬οΈπ€£
Hi Anna (and hi Gaby)
It's nice to see the old crowd having a chin wag like the good old days before Rocket Boy got in the way.
So sorry to hear about your old pal, Anna. My heartfelt condolences.
Sending virtual hugs π€
This is me attempting to photograph the garden in the very heavy rain with the flash on.
It's absolutely bucketing it down here π¦π§
Awesome π€£
A beautiful rose was taken from a visit to David Austin Roses last year. Slightly unsure of the variety but hedging a guess at "Princess Alexandra of Kent".
#RoseWednesday
Not good at all. I will block her!
Thanks Rebecca π€
That's great to hear.
It's been quite mild over here, but wet.
I've been a bit quiet on here as work has been busy - aiming to share more this year.
Thanks for the "re-tweet", Joy. Hope all is well with you ππ€
Collage of Hellebore 'Double Ellen Red'
'Double Ellen Red', an absolute stonker of a Hellebore, now flowering in the garden πΊπ

Ooh, that's made my day.
Totally forgot about this gem.
Thanks, Rebecca π€
The Poet's Wife rose at the David Austin Rose's nursery.
It's been quite a while since I've posted on this platform.
Here's a beautiful rose I photographed at the David Austin Rose's nursery: The Poet's Wife.
Happy #RoseWednesday πΉ

I haven't posted for a bit.
Here's a blast from the past.
The beautiful 'Golden Wedding' when it last flowered at my late Mum and Dad's house.

My exceptionally cute cat Tuppence climbing up the middle of my Acer. Collage of three black and white cat pictures in an autumn Acer tree.
Isn't she the cutest?
Also, the most mischievous.
Little Tuppence decided she'd help daddy in the garden by climbing up his Acer πββ¬οΈπ

Hi everyone π
I haven't posted for a wee while. Very busy on the work front. Also it been too wet to garden.
Doing a bit of Autumnal tidying up today with the "help" of my two feline companions Tilly (R) and Tuppence (L) π
Ditto. Avoiding trick or treaters like the plague tonight!
They can get quite vigorous. I've heard of Clematis montana flattening the tree it was climbing.
Hope all is good with you, Gaby π
