Good Saturday morning read for my docster friends. Don't agree with the premise, in full, but it's a thoughtful addition to the doc apocalypse discourse of past months. (also, "cinema-verité" and "direct cinema" are different forms...my pet peeve)
I watched the documentary Russians at War recently. It's powerful, revelatory.
