pragmata (the demo at least) plays like a slower vanquish with a kinda neat real-time hacking minigame during combat. it's fine, has that enemy balancing act i like in capcom shooters, though the nasacore aesthetic and "ah fuck we missed the TLOU train" central dynamic isn't quite gripping me.

people *adore* this one, even more than me. it's a great game but like, best RE yet? ok yknow, love the enthusiasm but lets hold our horses here.

RE9 isn't a totally definitive end for the series or anything but it's hilarious how the one called "requiem" sold and reviewed so ludicrously well that we're not finishing anytime soon sldkfj. RE11's gonna be in a retirement home.

i remember being there at the time thinking it'd be a fantastic opportunity for the artist in that internet lightning bolt sense but like, while i do enjoy the different interpretations on their own merits, sinkdog's just a canvas now.

the drawing's original success being owed to a cringe account dunkfest feels like a shallow way of "raising" previously unknown art in hindsight

yknow, it is kinda interesting that sinkdog's taken on such a distinct life of its own that nobody actually credits the creator anymore. that's a bit lame, they've not shared much of the character's success.
