I will never support concentration camps. Not in Gaza. Not in Nazi occupied Poland. Not in Minidoka. And not in Guantanamo Bay.
Concentration camps are evil.
If we're still allowed to vote in 2028, I will crawl through broken glass to vote, volunteer, and donate to any Dem who promises to throw all the oligarchs in prison. $1000 donations for every time they say they'll lock up Elon Musk.
Dang, we'll at least that's 4k people to play table tops with!
Describe your GMing style and your playing style each in one sentence.
GM: Supporting my players to tell the stories they want to tell.
Player: Absolute chaos gremlin (in a positive and affirming way)
DM Positive affirmation: Your brain is a liar, you ARE good at this.
Creating interesting characters can be a challenge for many DMs, especially on the fly!
Why not get your players to help out? If you're bad at names (like I am) get your players to give you names, backstories, descriptions, etc.
This is also a great time to award hero points or inspiration!
Daily DM Tip: donβt be too subtle! If you want your players to follow a plot hook you have to be sure they understand it is a plot hook! I get not wanting to be obvious but sometimes obvious is what the players needs whether it is a plot hook or the solution to a puzzle!

Yup, this is a man who's in an appointed position and paid a lot of money for it. "rule of democracy", sure.

Got a question for all the #5e, #DND, #D&D DMs out there!
What do you do to streamline combat in your games?
You're gonna love it!

This meme comes to mind, just let people enjoy content the way they want!

Ya! Gotta get my mods on!

I really love the environmental storytelling in it!
Overall my players loved the tension added by the puzzle, but you need to be careful not to frustrate your players which is why I suggest using simple puzzles!
7/7
I also put a few restrictions in place:
1. They didn't know which post to move to (revealed by defeating a certain enemy)
2. Some disks were missing (found as clues or by defeating monsters)
3. Moves were limited, they could earn them through combat, finding clues, or spending meta-resources
6/7
Here's an example:
My party was trapped in an ancient temple that was filling with a malicious fog that was hurting them over time and they had to restore the shrine to its original condition to banish the killing fog and acquire the mcguffin.
I used the Tower of Hanoi puzzle

4. If the puzzle is a few small pieces, give them those pieces one by one as rewards, maybe the goblins are carrying a strange piece of metal. Think about putting a special key to a sealed door together!
4/7
3. Limit the interaction with the puzzle by only allowing players to make moves or place pieces as a reward for finding clues or spending meta-resources (inspiration, hero points, etc).
