It’s completely apparent that the checks and balances we were taught in school are in fact just smoke and mirrors. If elected democrats don’t do something other than write sternly worded letters then they can kiss winning any future elections goodbye. People have lost all faith in the system.

I said years ago that if Trump won again, he’d be coming for the second amendment. After the public execution of Alex Pretti, it’s clear the second amendment holds no water anymore. It hasn’t for many POC prior to this, but when it impacts a white man with no criminal record, it’s truly over.
The fact that it would cost more to break my lease early than to pay for the next 4 months until it’s over is a good example of the broken housing system in America.

Posts on TikTok about the election or about the censorship suddenly occurring on TikTok now receive the warning: “Sharing is limited to one chat at a time. This is to help limit the spread of potentially harmful content.”
