I'm very happy to announce that I'll once again be speaking at @officialgdc.bsky.social this year! My solo lecture focuses on the incredible work to build the cultural world of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. I hope to see you there as we converge on the key game creation event of the year.

Another year, another great time at the DICE Summit! It was refreshing to reconnect and catch up with many colleagues and to hear a greater sense of optimism, with a dose of caution.

I was also humbled to get so much positive feedback from people about my work and some of my recent lectures!

Off to the DICE Summit today in #LasVegas, looking forward to seeing a lot of old friends and making new ones! If you're attending and want to catch up about any numbe rof things (especially the challenge of making games in a polarized world), let me know!

I'm happy to be speaking again at Pocket Gamer Connects in London next week, addressing the challenges of making games in a polarized world! After that, I'll be spending several days in Northern Ireland before I act as the MC and a roundtable leader at the game industry Leadership Day in Dublin!

2025 was another crazy year for travel, and incredibly busy work wise and I’m so very grateful for it. And 2026 is looking to be equally busy!

And for the final trip of the year, I'm off to #NewZealand to givbe a keynote at the Creative Tech Summit organized by Screen Wellington! Given it's my first time to #Aotearoa, I'll be spending an extra two weeks to enjoy and explore. :) I've been looking forward to this trip for a long while!

Over the weekend, I hit a milestone of working on 300 games over my career! Thank you to all my colleagues over the years who included me in your creative journeys!

It started with Flight Simulator 5.0 in 1993, but after 28 years, I'm STILL working on Age of Empires (hence this tribute art)!
