The good life

Day 24 of #100DaysOfCode
Been AFK for two weeks--was struggling to get auth working in prod. After some blood and tears, it works now.
The options/tactics to resist are many. Thereβs a whole spectrum between violence/nonviolence. There's a job for people of every age/ability/persuasion, but Americans are babies at this game.
We don't have time for you to slowly learn all this. Ask google, ask ChatGPT, like now. Right now. 3/4
Smart but ignorant people shrug & say (on a platform with millions of resisters explaining how to resist), βBut what can we do?? (...but my job/healthcare/family/future/free time!)β Like no one has faced a coup before and had to grapple with these issues before. 2/4
Link broke, I donβt know how to bluesky www.nonviolent-conflict.org/wp-content/u...
Rush the barricades, tape bread to your head for a helmet, open your door at dusk and bang pots and pans. General strike. Mostly become completely ungovernable.
or starters we have to be willing to die, to eat rats to survive, to let spouses/children lose their loved ones, to lose our jobs and our futures. For next steps read www.nonviolent-conflict.org/wp-content/u... itβs not applicable 100% but no resistance/revolution had a perfect blueprint
Protest activism knowledge, coup-resistance skills & the necessary courage have been removed from US consciousness since the 60s. smart but ignorant people say βwhat can we do?!β There options/tactics are many. Thereβs a whole spectrum between violence/nonviolence, but we are babies at this game.
