Hi Suzanne, the full list of sightings did show gaps where it wasn't seen in some summers so probs been away to breed before.

Had a great colour-ringed Oystercatcher sighting result yesterday. It was ringed in Devon, 2019 as an 8 yr old bird. Resighted some 50 times over the next 6 and a half years, always within 1km....until yesterday! #lincsbirding #ukbirding #waders #birdringing
My moth trap doesn't usually get going until April but getting a few. #Teammoth
So good! @froglife.bsky.social
Drake Smew still presant at Jobs lane, far off though. #lincsbirding
A message in the Grantham Birders WhatsApp group saying 18 Whooper Swan were 10 miles away meant a car trip to see if I could connect, they were still there, nice! Thanks Steve! @lincsbirding.bsky.social @lincswildlife.bsky.social

Last tray Wogan stopper. Early Grey. #Teammoth
Thought I was going to be the only birder in Britain to not see any White-fronted Geese this winter but found 13 at Woodhall airfield today. Always a good inland count of Redshank here-86 today. @lincswildlife.bsky.social #lincsbirding
Yeah, got lucky.
Orange Underwing moths were on the wing at Kirkby Moor, and I got this mating pair. @lincswildlife.bsky.social #Teammoth
Mothing slow but was blanking this time last year. Twin-spotted Quaker. #Teammoth
Anybody else looking through Jackdaw flocks? Found another Nordic type Jackdaw, with a second, but not so distinct. Waterwell lane, Ancaster. #lincsbirding #ukbirding
Was lucky to jam in on it, March 22nd 2025. ๐

And Red Admiral.
Glorious Spring day. Yellow Brimstone expected...and โ๏ธ.
