Comparison of Google AI features among Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 8 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro. Pixel 7 has no AI features. Pixel 9 has some. Pixel 8 has the most among the three.

Man, I got unlucky w/ having AI feature noise on my Pixel 8 Pro!

Pixel 7 has no AI noise, which is amazing.
Pixel 8 somehow has more AI noise than Pixel 9.

(Of course, the latest Pixel, Pixel 10, has the most AI noise.)

I hope the AI fad fades before I need to upgrade my phone.

True that you can't please everybody w/ each set. Feels like the cost this time was greater displeasure than usual.

Trade-off is you get to ensure the non-enfranchised, whether a kid or curious adult TMNT fan, can have their 1 pack yield a Turtle.

W/ an MTG on-ramp available (Standard & Limited).

This requirement plus forcing the product to be a Standard set means you're stuck between a rock(steady) & a hard place.

The feeling of character oversaturation for, say, some enfranchised MTG drafters, is inevitable.

The MTG TMNT sets persuaded me not to play more Magic but rather to catch up on a couple of Turtles movies.

Mutant Mayhem's style is awesome. Donnie was my fave, even tho I usually stan Mikey.

Rise of the TMNT: The Movie felt anime-like—cool! Surreal to see personality swaps between Leo & Raph.

My current mindset:

Tired: Bsky accounts are created without the setting that forces alt text for post images being turned on

Wired: Bsky accounts are created with that setting turned on by default

Inspired: That setting doesn't exist because all Bluesky posts require each image to have alt text.

Besides being unaware or resistant to change, is there any reason why a Bsky account should NOT have the setting that forces you to add alt text to each image in your post in order to post?

I want to make sure I'm not missing edge cases here. Presumption: all Bsky accounts can turn that setting on.

Perhaps for the sake of consistency across the entire set, which is either or both good for consistency's sake or to help make searching card databases for a particular card within this collection of cards less of a nightmare.

The Magic card "Bebop, Skull & Crossbones" , which uses an ampersand in the name instead of the word "and"

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Commander reprint of the Magic card "Sword of Hearth and Home", which does not use an ampersand.

The Magic card Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, which uses the word "and" in the name and not an ampersand.

Did you know?

MTG's TMNT cards use '&' so often that there are no uses of "and" on any of the new cards. Even when the use of '&' isn't necessary to save on character space in the card name.

The only time "and" is used is on a reprint card.

Marvel's Super Heroes will return...

To reframe, if there were to be an Across the Spider-Verse style of follow up to the Turtles Forever multiverse event, where you'd see TONS of different iterations of Turtles, would Magic's Turtles count as their own entities?

(Their character designs definitely help drive home they're from MTG.)
