Unnoticed fragment from a medieval martyrology in German! One full MS is preserved in Jena (hence Jenaer Martyrologium), two other fragments are known. This one has many variants in the German dialect. Specialists' comments welcome!

Tähtiin kirjoitettu Tervetuloa kokeilemaan tekeillä olevaa Tähtiin kirjoitettu -roolipeliä! Pelissä pääsette eläytymään erityisen yksilön eli noidan, astrologin tai alkemistin elämän Englannissa keskiajalla tai uuden ajan alussa. Millä tavalla yhteisö suhtautuu ihmiseen, jolla on erityisia kykyjä tai taitoja? Kuinka peliasetelman konfliktiin päädyttiin, ja mitä keskushahmolle tapahtuu kun tilanne ratkeaa? Pelaatte keskushahmoa yhdessa. Lisäksi jokaisella on oma avustajahahmo, joka on osa sitä yhteisöä, johon tapahtumat sijoittuvat. Tähtiin kirjoitetun peliasetelmat perustuvat todellisiin historiallisiin lähteisiin, esimerkiksi oikeuden pöytäkirjoihin. Tähtiin kirjoitettu on osa Koneen Säätiön tukemaa Tieteen ja taikuuden rajamailla -hanketta.
Lauantaina 26.7.2025 peliä pääsee kokeilemaan Messukeskuksen hallin 3 Kokemuspisteellä klo 13-15. Peli on aloittelijaystävällinen. Se on suunnattu yläkouluikäisille ja sitä vanhemmille. Peliin ilmoittaudutaan Kokemuspisteellä. Ropeconin pelit vedetään suomeksi.

Historiallisia elämyksiä - keskustelu historiasta roolipelin materiaalina. Roolipelit ja larpit ovat maailman sivu käyttäneet historiallisia inspiraationlähteitä. Seikkailuja on sijoitettu pseudokeskiaikaiseen maailmaan tai johonkin vaihtoehtohistoriaan, viktorianiseen Englantiin tai kosmisten kauhujen täyttämälle 1920-luvulle, muinaiseen Mesopotamiaan tai 1980-luvun AIDS-kriisiin. Miten peleihin tuodaan historiallista tarkkuutta menettämättä pelaamisen mielekkyyttä? Mitä annettavaa historiantutkimuksella on roolipeleille? Täytyykö pelaajan olla pelin aikakauden asiantuntija? Voiko opetuspeli olla hauska? Peleihin ja historiaan liittyvistä kysymyksistä keskustelemassa Jenni Lares, Niina Niskanen ja Kristel Nyberg.
Jenni Lares on historiantutkija ja larppaaja, joka on suunnitellut osana historialarppeja käsittelevää tutkimushanketta 1600-luvulle sijoittuvan Talvikäräjät-larpin (2022). Niina Niskanen on kirjailija, pelisuunnittelija ja larppaaja, joka on hyödyntänyt historiaa larpeissa, romaaneissa ja tuoreimpana mm. radiumtytöistä kertovassa freeform- skenaariossa. Kristel Nyberg on kirjailija ja roolipelisuunnittelija, joka tällä hetkellä työstää keskiajan Englantiin sijoittuvaa Tähtiin kirjoitettu -roolipeliä. Keskustelua luotsaa Tieteen ja taikuuden rajamailla -tutkimushankkeen johtaja Mari-Liisa Varila.
Paneeli järjestetään osana Ropecon-tapahtumaa pe 25.7.2025 klo 18:00-18:45 Messukeskuksen salissa 201. Paneeli on suomenkielinen, aloittelijaystävällinen ja pääasiassa aikuisille suunnattu.
