Pay close attention to which health care "advocacy" organizations condemn Senate Democrats for fucking over the entire health care system, and which care more about Schumer liking them than real people staying alive and say nothing at all...

For anyone arguing that the SNAP situation requires that Senate Democrats cave in exchange for nothing, and do it by tomorrow — I would think the developments of the last 24 hours, e.g. states acting in reliance on FNS' representations, USDA throwing a tantrum, increase the likelihood of a TRO....

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.
