I talk about advertising, unionisation, and gaming a lot. I have fur babies and food comas. Prone to an occasional rant (soz).

It’s hard to believe, but a man thought this was as an appropriate way to package two jumpers. πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

If you moved to Dubai/UAE on the pretence of not paying UK taxes, then our taxes shouldn’t be used to come pick you up. Your entitlement was already unbearable - refusing to assimilate or respect local laws and culture, hidden away in your westernised enclosures. Worse than the Benidorm Brexiters.

Well done! I’ve got one of those in the works and it passed the board last week without getting hacked to pieces. Looking forward to LinkedIn hating it later in the year. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Idiots used a picture of a B2.

Yes, same here. I checked flight radar and nothing. So my assumption is it was two B1 Lancers on their way to Iran.

Two very large and very loud aircraft that weren’t on flight scanners just flew over.

My bet is the B1s are en route to Iran from Fairford.

Or additional B1s or even B2s just arrived.

Wife is dressed as Pinocchio for some school thing. It’s absolutely hilarious. πŸ˜†

I saw a teenage boy in town earlier dressed in baggy blue jeans and a red cap backwards, looking exactly like Fred Durst did back in the day. It's so weird to see kids wearing your clothes. I know my dad laughed at me when I turned up in flares as a teen, so here we are now. Our turn now.

Probably the best food to eat when you need cheering up, nourishing and generally bringing back to life.

"Customers will switch to brands with transparent data protection and AI policies" is the new "customers will switch to brands doing good for the world."

More nonsense, biased survey crap that will never be reflected by real-world consumer behaviour.

Christ. Never read the trend reports, kids.

I think all of these film award shows should happen every 4 years and all at the same time, so there's actually award-winning films in the mix and not the best of an average bunch every year with one standout film every 3-4 years. Should be more like the Olympics or World Cup.

I've said for years that Reform will win the next election, but I could see the Greens being the second biggest party at others' expense. They could also still form a government and stop Reform if they formed a coalition with whoether 3rd biggest party is (presumably a very diminished Labour).

Of course. That doesn't happen, but I agree. If, however, the decline of Labour sees the home of the Left shift while Tory decline sees parts of the Right shift, then people will grow in confidence with changing voting behaviour. The Greens need to make themselves FEEL bigger to benefit tho.

I think you've missed the point. Lots of people will do everything they can to avoid hurting someone else even if they are fearing for their lives. Happens in every war. People are being shot at, but shoot near enemies to warn them away rather than take a life. I can't imagine what that does to you.

And Venezuela and Iran and the bits of Ukraine with rare earth minerals and other resources. You’d have to be ridiculously naive not to notice that this regime is just a smash and grab outfit for the same old republican backers.

Perhaps if they can get some momentum together, yes. But outside of small highly liberal pockets in the country (Bristol), there was very little point. That’s not voter apathy, that’s the system, which is arguably the primary driver of the former.

I for one would be extremely happy if the Green Party grew in importance in the UK and became a serious election contender. Most people like me would vote for them if we thought they’d actually win. Every policy survey Ive done has placed them as 95%+ policy match to my own personal views.

If you're learning to play the guitar, I think Will You Go Lassie Go is a great first song to learn to play, as literally nobody wants to hear you play Wonderwall at parties.

You don’t need an app and most of us non-sociopathic tech bros don’t want an app.

Tell you what folks, it’s nice getting stressed out about *waves at everything*, but then being sober and not spiralling for an indeterminate period of time.

Here’s to keeping your shit together, folks. ❀️

I missed them at Glastonbury when I was 15 or 16, I forget which, when they were at the peak of their powers. And Ben Folds Five played that year and Jurassic 5. Missed them all but later became superfan of all of them. Have caught up with the others but not CC yet. Going to catch them in Bristol.
