This evening I had the great privilege of attending a reception hosted by His Majesty the King at Windsor Castle to celebrate and recognise the incredible work of carers, both professional and unpaid, across the UK.
I just want to add my own personal thanks to our amazing carers.

Lovely to visit Abergele to see the Communication Boards in the local park to help children and families with speech and language communication.
Thanks to Bash and his Mum, Rennie, who showed me how this has helped them.

A significant milestone in Welsh Governmentβs Flying Start childcare as Swansea council offer places to all 2 year olds.
Thanks to Councillors who have worked in partnership with, and to staff and children at the Centre who provide and benefit from such a fantastic facility.
Pleased to speak at Carers Trust Wales event at the Senedd calling for action to #endcarerpoverty.
I was able to set out how Welsh Government is helping to support unpaid carers through our Carers Support Fund, to appreciate the amazing contribution unpaid carers make to our social care system.
