Graduation come May/June. The last few classes are SO HARD.
An update: I might not have a new chapter up until May or June because everything is unnecessarily difficult right now between school and work.

Ideas are the same way. A "bad" idea is just one that you haven't cooked.
6:6 On its own, the idea of having a society without the concept of parenthood is flawed, but combined with other things, it works.
So I guess the point is: stop trying to have good ideas, and start trying to have ANY ideas. Quantity should come before quality. That's the essence of brainstorming.
5:6 However, you can add other elements of a society to make up for it. Make it so that instead of parents, children are raised by the community at large as independent actors. Provide infrastructure like a school system to guide them from the moment they're born.
4:6 Writing it down is the only way to flesh it out. On paper, you can ask questions like "what if I swap this detail for a new one?"
One example from my worldbuilding project: "A society without family units."

The problem isn't that we have bad ideas, but that we treat "bad" as a permanent label. We hear the idea in out head, judge it, and then immediately bury it.

Iron Lung is fantastic! Go spend your money on it.
I can see how that is a thing that could happen as he goes through his "villain arc." A lot of people have that complaint with him, but to be honest I was only not a fan of so much bright orange text rather than what was going on inside of it. I thought it was interesting.

By "All of #Homestuck" I didn't include Homestuck^2 Beyond Canon. I have never read it before now but it's actually really good! I kinda really like Swiss!

I mean addiction in the more clinical sense, there's just a lot of muddying of that word with colloquial use. It's not chemically addictive the way cocaine or even caffeine is. My brain has a dopamine deficient baseline, so I'm inclined to partake in things that boost my levels.
I know weed addiction isn't literally a real thing but having ADHD I become easily dependent on substances that really don't help me. It never did any good for me and I'm happy to have shaken it.
I should have figured my last two terms were gonna be hard but gosh school is taking a toll on me. Can't wait to graduate in May and be done with the grind.
I might write a fanfic at this point.
So I got addicted to misery and re-read all of Homestuck now I feel all turned around. Story fucks with your head once you go long enough.
I came home from work the other night so tired that I began hallucinating second-person narrations of my actions.
For a sec I thought you were gonna say Homestuck.
I've always been autistic about animal characters, you could also blame Jurassic Park, Little Bear, The Land Before Time, Tom and Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Winnie the Pooh for seeding the interest; but you can DIRECTLY point to Pokemon as my point of entry to being a furry.
