I’d literally never heard of it before. The trailer feels like when they transition from 80s sitcom to cop show in Too Many Cooks.

1/2 of the Queen Venerator Podcast. Movies no one cares about. Music no one likes. Food that doesn’t exist anymore. Cancelled TV shows. We like trash, but not in an endearing way. https://linktr.ee/queenvenerator

Cohost Sean just sent me this trailer and it feels like they exquisite corpsed a screenplay on this one. Just madness.

If someone is telling you to smoke 3 packs of cigarettes a day, one of those brands might have less tar but you’re still smoking 3 packs a day and should probably quit smoking
Wrote this piece about omnicrisis last week that's holding up pretty well (unfortunately) www.damemagazine.com/2026/02/24/t...
That argument exists because the lives of non-white people are cheap in imperial discourse. Mass death on the other side of the world has no reality outside of what space it takes up on the american tv news cycle. If it were otherwise, the old normal would have been as insupportable as the new
Can think of nothing more cowardly than pressing a button to shoot a missile that will land dozens or hundreds of miles away. Little bottle of water next to your desk. "Yes sir" and all that shit. Walking around saluting each other. Fucking losers. Killers.

A sign that says “Jeff Dunham. Sold Out” planted in the middle of the road.
“There has to be a good explanation why this road, which is only moderately busy most days, is now gridlocked with traffic for 30 minutes in the year of our lord 2026”, he thought foolishly. “Something terrible must have happened up ahead”.
Little did he know how right he was.

God, I forgot all about Brian Stack dressing as Joe Galliano on Conan
My hometown of Canton gets a shout in this episode regarding the assassination of Pulitzer winning journalist Don Mellett.
I wonder how Don would feel knowing his legacy included having a fat child walking to the Mellett Mall theater to watch Bowfinger alone on the last day of his summer vacation.
Watched this again last night and I’ve had this in my head since.
do you know how much i would never like to talk or think about this shit ever again
A copy of Celluloid Mavericks by Greg Merritt
A copy of The Rough Guide to Cult Movies
I started buying copies of books that I wore out/lost as a teenager that meant a lot to me. These two were pretty instrumental in shaping my taste today. Celluloid Mavericks is a really informative history of American Independent cinema and Rough Guide’s just a fun lil thing.
The hornet is sufficiently angry but not exactly threatening. Cartoonish without looking stupid. This is the ideal.
I went to an estate sale today. They were selling photos of the owner with George W. Bush.
They were also selling 6 tubs filled to the brim with Playboys. They were originally asking for $5000, but they put a big cartoon “X” through that price and made it a more reasonable, not at all insane $3000
