Have you heard of the SoCraTes events? These are software crafting unconferences / open spaces that happen across the world, in beautiful surroundings and with lovely people. They are my absolute favourite software events, and that’s speaking as someone who attends 10-20 events each year!

Today we're voting in a crucial by-election in the Gorton and Denton constituency (in the UK), which I happen to live in.

I'll be voting for The Green Party's Hannah Spencer, local plumber and all-round great person. Below is a screenshot from a video made by my husband, Ally Fogg.
