Set of alien cards from Cosmic Encounter: Trickster, Xenophile, Sorcerer, Bride, Invader, Mite
Got demolished as the Invaders in Cosmic Encounter last night. 2 of my 3 destiny cards came up within the first 3 encounters. Bummer. But tons of fun was had. The Sorcerer won by sheer force after having been allied on defense for the previous 2 players turns (getting them 8 cards total).
Yay. Another PitchCar person! Cool tracks. I've never thought about forcing someone to take a long jump or an angle jump like the second track. Gunna have to try that.
Also have never seen someone have the loop without the side foam rails on it. That's wild.
Depends on the game, group, and group size but my group usually prefers games that are 45-75 mins. It lets us play 2-4 games every game night.
You know what they say...Get boulder, Be bolder.
Thanks! I usually do well (BGStats says 50% win rate) Unfortunately my friend has 95% of my boardgames at their place (including PitchCar), & they're slowly bringing them over each game night. So who knows what I'll get this week!?
Gunna see if they can bring Cosmic Encounter as we have 6 folks.
Bamboo kitchen table with 6 chairs. 36" deep by 78" long (up to 109" with leaves).
Playing on the new table tonight for boardgames! First time in the new house. The table has two built in leaves so it can fit a nice sized PitchCar track when we get around to that.
36" deep by 78" long (up to 109" with leaves).
Can't wait!
Roll/Flip & writes scale beautifully from 2 to any player count and are light to medium weight.

A moment of silence for my 5x5 Kallax. It'll likely be put in the kids' playroom. I failed to pay attention that there is a vent where I originally wanted it in my office to house my boardgames. Anyone have any experience with the base on legs for the Kallax? share.google/RKwc8Fi8nN0u...
No Thanks! Is fantastic. Played it a ton on BGA and finally decided to get it this last Xmas. Just haven't played it in person.
Let's both get El Grande played this month.
Still need to get this to my table. I got it back in December!

2! But that's mostly because I'm in the middle of a move. Usually they get played right away. They're at my friend's house until I get my shelves setup.

That's pretty cool! Always love good boardgame content.
Nice. I used to do an in person game afternoon once a year back when I was onsite. I'd bring in a handful of games and anyone in the division could stop by and play. Filler games went over best. You got this!
My team works from home, but we do one digitally using Board Game Arena. It's been great fun hanging out with the team. How big is your team?
As a boardgamer this was a really fun watch: m.imdb.com/title/tt3118... (on Prime video)
A lot of familiar faces in there. Love the themes of inclusivity, belonging, and human connections throughout.
I'm sure you do better than I do! I got through about 55% of my collection last year.
Super cool. Have fun with it!
Oh nice. What kind of moon board are you putting in?
Almost new house day! We're waiting to tell the kiddos until we walk them through the house after signing on Friday. A good surprise after almost 5 months of waiting with most of our stuff being in storage units.
We buy games because we think we're buying the time to play them.
Captain Flip. It would sell like hot cakes.
Thanks. Wish I had more time to play them all. I feel like I'm going to be in a Twilight Zone episode where I'll finally be able to retire and have all the time in the world but will lose my mind and not be able to remember any rules.

This looks great! What angle did you build this at?
My 9 y/o is doing her 1st rock climbing comp this wknd. She has been on climb team for 2 years. I now want to install a small bouldering wall in my exercise room for her & me. Any1 have an at-home wall & has tips?

I could play Carcassonne every day.
PitchCar is sooooo fun. Unfortunately, it's also spendy.
I've seen Flick Fleet. It looks super cool but I rarely play at 2 players. Maybe at a convention someday. I've also limited myself to 1 big dexterity game, so I went all in on PitchCar.
Very cool about the game you're working on. I like to partially design games when the bug hits but they never go anywhere yet, ha.
