We can campaign and vote on any issue. But I agree, not a lot. I will disagree with you on the West Bank though - as far as humanity can resemble polarised good and bad, the conflict is pretty clear cut IMO. My DOI being that I am half Palestinian, but also Israeli.

Ah I’m losing all faith in the world. Even work at the moment with the pressures and the corridor, the constant terrible news… What can we do?

The more people posting videos here - it might become more video friendly.

Countries need to invest in their own R&D. The amount saved from creating their own medications would be vast. If we can open source this (like insulin) that would be the dream. But even if we were to become exporters that would be better.

Netanyahu is unhinged. This speech is terrifying, and he’s broadcasting it to starving civilians in territory he fully controls and occupies.

@lewisgoodall.com @lbc.co.uk If there is no Palestinian state then please define Gaza and the West Bank? What do you call an area of land filled with people who share an identity? If it is not a state, what is it? I think allowing it not to be a state allows it to be the obvious answer; prison.

@lewisgoodall.com @lbc.co.uk I am Palestinian Israeli, and British. Recognising a state means so much to me. I’m not sure if you’ve noticed the number of people who deny palestinians even exist. We have a right to exist. Acknowledge us and our humanity, and maybe they will treat us better.

Currently reading Kingmaker by Graham Brady and having already read Rory Stewart’s Politics on the Edge I am struck by 2 things:
1) Some parts of conservatism are palatable (heavy on the some).
2) David Cameron was a right prick.

Whilst Israel is bombing Iran it is continuing to bomb Gaza.

Right to defend itself my foot. Everyone has the right to defend themselves. So when do we allow people to defend themselves against Israel?

I don’t know how to describe this but my world is shattered today. Netanyahu has created an open field and now will feel he can act with total impunity against Gaza. I am afraid this is the end, and my throat is so tight I can barely swallow.

What can I do?

#Gaza: Along with hundreds of others across the Strip, our colleague Alaa Abd-Elsalam Ali Okal was killed in on March 18 following the resumption of Israeli attacks.

Hundreds more were injured in this abrupt end to the ceasefire. Our thoughts are with his family.
