Rockies GM steps down.
Rockies Shut out 4-0 in final game of 2025
The Rockies ended the season with a thud as SF finished the regular season with a 4-0 win and a sweep of Colo.
This was an appropriate end to a miserable season that saw the Rockies finish 43-119 for the season. Will this be rock bottom? Time will tell.
Hunter Goodman and Brenton Doyle homered to give the Rockies an early lead, but SF came from behind to win, 4-3.
Jordan Beck's homer made it 4-3 in the 9th, but SF got the win.
Kyle Freeland (5-17) gave up 3 runs on 3 hits in 6 innings.
Rocks Lose Series Opener to SF
COL scored all three runs in the 5th inning Fri. in a 6-3 loss.
SF jumped out early with a 2-run homer and had a 3-run homer before Ezequiel Tovar's 3-run homer in the 5th to make it 5-3.
Germán Márquez suffered his 16th loss. He allowed 6 runs in 4.1 innings.
Ez-E Tovar and Hunter Goodman drive in runs in Thursday's Loss
The Mariners completed a sweep of the Rockies Thursday, with a 6-2 win.
Tovar and Goodman each had an RBI single accounting for the Rockies runs.
Bradley Blalock took the loss in a 3.2 inning outing, allowing 5 ER on 6 hits.
Tanner Gordon roughed up Wed. in 9-2 loss to SEA.
Four innings in, Col. was down 7-1. It was ugly, as the Rockies managed two hits all night.
Blaine Crim hit his 5th homer of the season and Cal Raleigh hit two for the Mariners and now has 60
Tanner Gordon gave up 7 runs on 8 hits in 3.1 innings.
Rockies lose to SEA 4-3 Tues.
Colorado got an RBI single from Kyle Karros in the 1st and a 2-run single from Ez-E Tovar in the 6th to lead 3-1.
Unfortunately, a 3-run double by Josh Naylor in the 8th was the difference.
McCade Brown went 5 innings, allowing 2 hits and one run in a no-decision.
Rockies beat LAA 3-1
Colorado won the series on Sunday. Blake Crim scored on a sac fly in the 2nd to make it 1-1.
He hit his 4th homer of the year in the 4th, and capped it w/an FC, allowing Mickey Moniak to score the 3rd run in the 8th.
K Free allowed a run in 6 innings to get the win.
Rockies Shut Out by LAA Saturday
The Rockies managed 5 hits in a 3-0 loss to the Angels. Hunter Goodman had 2 of them.
Germán Márquez deserved a better fate as he put together one of his best outings of the year. He went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, and striking out 5.
Rockies beat LAA 7-6 in series opener:
Tyler Freeman scored on a Hunter Goodman triple in the first and knocked in a run in the 2nd.
Colorado went down 6-3 before a Brenton Doyle single tied it 6-6.
Ez-E Tovar's sac fly was the difference in a 4-run 5th.
Bradley Blalock(2-5) got the win.
Rocks score 4 in 9th, lose 9-7 to FL on Thurs.
Blaine Crim hit a homer and Tyler Freeman singled to give Col a lead, but they again couldn't hold it and had to try coming back.
Crim homered again in the 9th, as did Mickey Moniak, yet again. Unfortunately, as usual, it wasn't enough.
Rockies Led Early Wednesday, but not for long. Lose 8-4.
After taking a 2-0 lead, FL led 3-2 by the 4th. Jordan Beck had an RBI single in the 4th to tie 3-3, but were down 7-3 in the 8th, before Mickey Moniak had yet another home run in the 9th. He's on fire as of late.
Rockies Comeback Falls Short on Tuesday in 6-5 loss
The Rocks and Marlins had a rain delay of 1 hour that seemed to help Col. They scored all 5 runs in the last two innings.
Mickey Moniak hit a 3-run homer in the 8th and had an RBI single in the 9th. It wasn't enough.
Kyle Freeland took the L.
SD led 7-1 Sun. Colo. Comeback falls short.
Mickey Moniak's 3-run homer in the 6th was followed by his RBI single in the 7th, but it wasn't enough as SD held on for 9-6 win. Moniak finished 4-for-4 w/5 RBIs.
Marquez allowed runs on 9 hits, in 2.1 innings.
Monday is an off day for Colorado.
SD Scores 9 in the First 4 innings en route to 11-3 win.
SD made quick work of the Rocks Sat. They hit 4 homers, including 1 from Fernando Tatis, and Manny Machado.
Blaine Crim had a 2-run double in the 8th, as his hot start continues.
Bradley Blalock lasted just 3 innings, allowing 5 runs.
Rockies place RHP Chase Dollander on the 15 day IL with a left patella tendon strain and recall RHP Bradley Blalock from Albuquerque.

Blaine Crim's first MLB hit was a memorable one. He smacked a 3-run homer in the 4th inning. Kyle Farmer followed with a solo shot.
Jordan Beck added 2 hits and Tanner Gordon (6-6) kept SD at Bay, allowing one run (Manny Machado HR) and 2 hits in 6 innings.
Rockies Blanked Again Thurs.
After losing 9-0 to LAD on Wednesday, they lost to SD 2-0.
Colorado managed just 4 hits Thursday in the loss to the Padres. Mickey Moniak had 2 hits.
An RBI single by Luis Arraez (3rd) and a HR by Jackson Merrill (4th) were all SD needed.
McCade Brown took the loss.
LAD Blank Rockies Wednesday:
Colo. managed just two hits in a 9-0 loss. Tyler Freeman and Hunter Goodman each had a single.
Kyle Karros had an error that led to a 4-run 2nd. Mookie Betts added a grand slam in the 8th.
Kyle Freeland had 4 runs on his ledger but only one earned in 5.2 IP.
Goodman hits 30th in 7-2 loss to LAD:
LA led 5-0 after 5 innings and made easy work of the Rocks. Tyler Freeman's RBI single in the 6th broke up the shutout. Hunter Goodman hit his 30th HR of the season in the 9th.
Germán Márquez fell to 3-13.
The series wraps up on Wednesday.
Dodgers Best Rockies 3-1.
LA scored twice in the 7th Monday, breaking a 1-1 tie. Kyle Felarmer gave Co. the lead with a sac fly in the 2nd. Freddie Freeman doubled in a run to tie it in the 6th.
Mookie Betts singled home 2 in the 7th to win it for LA.

Rockies drop finale to SD on Sunday.
Ez-E Tovar's RBI single in the 3rd inning was the Rockies only run in 8-1 loss.
That made it 3-1, but SD scored 5 in the next two innings to pull away. SD hit 4 homers. Warming Bernabel had 2 hits for COL.
Tanner Gordon allowed 6 runs in 3.2 innings.
COL comeback falls short
SD used a 6-run second and a 4-run 5th to beat COL 10-8 Sat COL. chipped away, getting RBI hits from Doyle and Bernabel in the 2nd. Goodman hit #29 in the 6th, and Moniak singled in the 7th to make it 10-4. Beck made it 10-7 w/a bomb and Moniak added a solo shot in the 8th.
Rockies Shut Out Padres
In a rarity, Colo. blanked SD 3-0 on Friday:
Hunter Goodman had a solo homer in the 3rd and an RBI double in the 7th, sandwiched around a Jordan Beck RBI single in the 5th.
Kyle Freeland bounced back after being tossed in his last start to go 8 innings, allowing 2 hits.
Rockies comeback falls short in 10-8 loss to SF
After trailing 4-0, COL scored 4 runs in the 5th to take a 5-4 lead. Tyler Freeman & Hunter Goodman singled home runs and Jordan Beck singled home 2 more.
SF would take a 10-5 lead before COL scored 3, highlighted by a Goodman 2-run double.
Don't give him the opportunity to show you up. Don't throw him a pitch he can bomb you on.
Kyle Freeland tossed in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to Giants:
Rafael Devers made Freeland (3-14) mad with his 2-run homer in the 1st, and Freeland's night ended early, and he was tagged with the loss.
Hunter Goodman went 3-4, driving in all 4 runs. He had a 2-run homer in the 7th. Ez-E Tovar had 2 hits.
SF Throttles Rockies, 8-2.
Colorado managed 13 hits but just 2 runs Monday. Both runs came in the 6th inning, on a Kyle Karros ground out and a Yanquiel Fernandez RBI double, one of his 2 hits.
Tyler Freeman and Brenton Doyle had 3 hits each.
Chase Dollander allowed 6 runs in 5 innings.
Rockies Walk It Off
Colorado came from behind Sunday to beat Cubs 6-5.
Braxton Fulford tripled to put the Rockies ahead 3-2, and Brenton Doyles' sac fly made it 5-2 in the 7th.
Cubs came back to tie it at 5 in the 8th on an Ian Happ 3-run shot.
Mickey Moniak tripled in the 9th to win it.
