298 days turnaround on Aurora to get a new hero. Meanwhile Lexi and Iyslander are at 848 and 823 with completely dead cardpools. Idk guys I get that you wanted to shove out Aurora again, but fuck less than a year feels terrible when some of us are 2+ into a wait.

It has been 823 since Elemental Wizard was legal in the Classic Constructed format. But thank GOD we got a second Oscilio and a new Aurora.

I’ve heard people saying Ice Aggro Jarl or Fatigue Jarl are the only ways to play but mono Ice feels so clunky compared to hybrid. It’s gotta be a PsyOp, right? Fatigue feels great but also I don’t wanna put my locals through that lol
R3 - vs Vynnset. Felt bad for this one. Deck drew hot, and I kept channel lake out for four turns. Closed it out with EleStrike+Colors.
Overall happy with the deck. I’ve been underestimating how good EleStrike is at enabling clean decomposes if you send one banishing either an Earth or Colors.

For the second week in a row I’ve gone 3-0 on Jarl!
R1 - vs DIO; Playing against a new player. Helped them with sequencing, they learned about ice and why it’s mean against aggro.
R2 - vs Fang; Turns out when you roll super hot and disrupt him every turn, you can win this.

The best part of playing assassin in #FaBTCG is it’s giving me the same feeling I enjoy in fighting games: namely characters with 50/50s that force your opponents to guess. But a lot of times you can lead them into guessing wrong
Played my first competitive FaB event in a long while (a 3-ish month hiatus). Went 3-3 on Slippy and had a fantastic time
