Basically our xG doesn’t feel a good measure of our opportunities in that game and curious if there’s a way to measure them. Also as you guys have proved our conversion vs xG isn’t a problem - but getting good quality xG as a % of opportunities does feel like one
Is there any data analysis which shows how many good opportunities we didn’t get a shot from or got a low quality shot vs what the game state presented? Tross blew two 4 on 3s, Gyok two 1-1s, and Eze/Saka had 2 or 3 where we should have had shots or higher quality shots

Everyone on here is moaning about Eze and Noni’s attacking production but Mikel will be frustrated with them defensively. Creating high turnovers leads to transitions and good chances, and also protects your defence and allows you to dominate the ball - leading to more time spent attacking.
These attacking numbers are grim but the biggest issue with the front 4 today was the defensive high press. If that’s better you then get a lot more of the ball in good positions which boosts everyone’s numbers. Arguably our best chance all game came through Ode’s press and Rice’s non-shot.

I don't know if this data exists but I'd love to see how we are scoring goals and compare that to other PL teams (e.g. cutbacks, high/deep turnovers, crosses, central play, etc). There is frustration that we don't score more but more clarity on specifically where we can improve would be helpful!

This point is key and I don't think it's well understood. Is it right that basically when it’s windy, wind pushes wholesale price down by displacing higher-cost gen (often gas), we top wind up to the strike price, but average prices are still dragged down, which is what we're comparing to?

One key point I think you've missed on Kai is he's now physically different to this data in terms of muscle mass and weight. Assuming he stays healthy and the injuries don't effect his pace/skill, I think you'd expect him to be a better ST as he was slight before (though he played bigger).
