If you have 12 minutes to spare, you could do considerably worse than 'Kapila's Theme.' If you have an hour, you could listen to that song five times in a row.
In truth, I recommend doing so.

I think about this live performance of 'Predatory Wasp' a lot. This is the ideal live version, for me.

Pinbackβs βLoroβ does it for me, every time.
Dire.
Second-person burn. I like it.
TLJ/Rian Johnson was pilloried for bringing some reflexive criticism/ideas into the picture. I don't even agree with all the notions he brought to it, but it's inarguable that he expanded what the franchise could be about, and he did it with several wholly memorable visuals.
'Black Wooden Ceiling Opening' is easily a top-5 Mount Eerie release, but so many seem to have forgotten about it (or worse, never heard it!). He really tested/realized a perfect new sound here that reached its apex on the following year's 'Wind's Poem'.

You won. The game has ended.
INDEED. Exquisite filmmaking.
I still don't think the world has sufficiently encountered and acknowledged the wonder of Richard Dawson's 'The Hermit.'

Happy Lebowski Day, indeed. Hereβs an article I wrote last year about this film and sleep/dreams in the Coen Bros.β works, also examining Jeff Bridges as a sleep guide.

We had this movie on every weekend in my college house.
Most potent Ween B-side earworm, and that's saying something.
Another great Modern Folk release. Among many other things that could be highlighted, this is one for those who like that OLD Beachwood Sparks-type sound that just doesn't seem to be around anymore. Highly recommended.

Next up: Bruce Willis on Gangs.
How DaRe you!
Fiery Furnaces released 'Bitter Tea' nearly 20 years ago. Let's all celebrate by listening to 'Nevers,' which features some of the coolest backmasked vocals ever and an addictive melody. For two decades, I've hyperfixated on the section that begins at 3:42.

It really was the AOTY last year. Now, theyβre playing live, selling merch, and doing the band thing. I havenβt seen potential like this since early Ovidβs Withering, and Iβm hoping these guys are around much longer.
Imagine including βstrikingβ as an adjective in a story about a literal war.
I missed this release in January. Jurado's (earliest?) demos. Significant historical document, for real.
