The games industry is mentally exhausting in every aspect. Studying, trying to get a job, maintaining skills, managing workload when getting said job, getting laid off… all of it is so damaging.

We need significant change.

I thought I’d handled burnout before, but recent months proved me wrong. I got stuck in a cycle of working and sleeping, feeling like I wasn’t moving forward and my mental health was crumbling. I stepped back, reassessed, and started making healthier choices. It’s slow, but I’m moving again.

My heart goes out to you and the whole team. Getting the chance to work on the Metal Hellsinger franchise was truly career defining for me, and I’ll always be grateful to you and everyone involved for that opportunity by creating such a masterpiece.
