I've never read Don DeLillo. Erik has never read a smutty hockey novel. This is going to be HILARIOUS.

Found access to a copy. Prepare yourselves lol
We are going to find this novel. We are going to search the ends of the earth for it. It's possible there's never been a more Print Run novel than this one

listened to our new one yet? it's on the nonfiction market and how publishers see readers
In case you don't know what this means: you send us the pitch for your book. We mark it up in Word and send it back, with advice on how to sharpen it. You send $100, all of which goes to feed families sheltering in place here in the twin cities.
Reminder that we're doing a query critique donation drive for a shelter-in-place program here in MSP. Going well so far--we're at about $1700 and would love to get to like $2500. Come get your pitch critiqued!
We're Unsure What This Week Even Is If We Are Being Honest

planning an absolute heater of a @printrunpodcast.bsky.social episode that we're recording tomorrow
Recording tomorrow. in our calendars and everything. "you always say that" I know we always say that. but we mean it this time
The program we're funding is entirely volunteer-run, which means that 100% of your money will go DIRECTLY to purchasing nutritious, culturally-appropriate, and ethically sourced food for members of Twin Cities communities.
As always, we will accept gift slots! If you have money to give but don't need a critique, let us know you'd like to purchase a gift critique and we'll give it to someone in the writing community who cannot otherwise afford one.
Here's how it's going to work:
Send $ to us, along with an email with your query, and we'll critique it via track changes!
$100 for one round of critique
$200 for two rounds (we send notes back, you make changes, we make notes again)

@printrunpodcast.bsky.social slash @headwaterlit.bsky.social (aka me and Erik) are doing a query drive to raise money for Open Market's shelter-in-place program, located at Zion Community Commons in STP. They're in the middle of an urgent fundraiser for $43K to just stay open. We want them to grow.
It's time.
Colin, the comrade running the shelter-in-place food program I'm working at, told me that this week he's had to turn down asks from schools to supply food directly to their sheltering families. The reason? There's not enough money coming in for that amount of food.
Let's change that.

A very annoying thing that happened is that, while hitting the target metric for Nano, I still have two chapters left to write. For the last two weeks I have let myself rest. But sadly it is now time to come out of retirement for One Last Job
