I feel like I could use a really immersive fantasy or sci-fi world in books to dive into right now.
Not sure what. I have a lot of books in my to read list.
On top of that it needs to be an audiobook because of cognitive stuff I've got going on. Can't focus on reading words much these days.

Some that I've found really engrossing are Erin Morgenstern and Susanna Clarke. Maybe Robin Hobb, but hers have stretches where it's slow and kind of frustrating. But I'd agree Clive Barker could definitely work. I'm not sure about audiobooks though

The Kindle ones do. They work like little pop up windows. I try not to give them money, but I have several in my library from earlier. And Nook has worked ok for footnotes in other books I've read, but I haven't tried any Discworld ones on there
