A little late to this one, but I really enjoyed a Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
It could not be more obvious that the president does not care about US service members and in fact regards their deaths as mere political inconveniences. He has more sympathy for Putin than Americans who died because he decided to wage illegal war. Just listen to him.
I've collaborated with Wes many times, both in game design and playtesting. They have a keen mind, sharp wit, and years of experience in the industry.
Roleplaying combat isn't hard, you mechanize combat because it's fun. Otherwise you can just freeform it.
First TTRPG I played that wasn't D&D?
Pretty sure it was Top Secret, also by TSR.

The Isle Beyond the Mists is a Carved from Brindlewood ttrpg set in a supernatural version of the Caribbean. The players are the crew of a privateer ship and they are after a legendary treasure protected by the ghost of Henry Morgan. They must overcome supernatural threats to reach the treasure.
It is 100% what got me into the Between.

An airline security card but instead of oxygen masks, it's squid. Just roll with it.
Secure your own squid first before helping others.

it seems they might be crawling back to the ttrpg industry, so btw this is who financially, emotionally, and sexually abused me for 2 years, then dropped off preemptively to avoid being ousted.
fuck with them or don't, I can't tell you what to do, but know who you're in bed with at least.
This game is so good. I got to play in a campaign run by Jason and the vibes are off the charts. I'm excited to see the revisions and expansions in this full release.

This, my personal score for what weβre living through now, seems to me to be more applicable by the day.
New Quinns Quest video!! πΊπ»π΅
Public Access by the Gauntlet is razor sharp, powerfully strange and enormously thought-provoking. My players are still daydreaming about our campaign, even though it finished six months ago. I think your players will too.

I feel like a major difference between Gen X and the boomers is revealed by the fact that our big 80s nostalgia trip is a horror series about the evils of unchecked government, and their 50s equivalent was "Grease" and "Happy Days."
Great video by one of my favorite artist, Martin Klekner.

I finished the @itsquinns.bsky.social video, very entertaining, and what I liked best is how he conveys the philosophy of play behind our games. youtu.be/bLrr1z1gRgo?...
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. Itβs always a matter of will not resources.
RPGs, man. There's nothing like 'em.
Played a session tonight where a ghost who's haunting a corset telekinetically launched a gunfighting little punk out a window, across the street, and into another building, precisely because the other building was one the kid used to peep on dancehall ladies.
