a sketch design for a smartphone Has: De-googled OS, 60hrzm 64gb storage, 5 inch display, 1080p, OLED screen, plastic body, bluetooth, widgets, rubber corners, two programmable buttons, single hinge camera that flips up for selfies, removable battery, headphone jack, USBC charging, loop in corner for charms, SD memory slot, and clear plastic back so you can put in your own design or something idk Does not have: AI, face recognition, turn-on on lift, mandatory updates
followup to dream phone design, took some ideas from people I liked. It's not designed for everyone but it's designed for me specifically and I'm mad it doesn't (and will likely never) exist
This verdict is appalling — especially the conviction of Daniel Sanchez-Estrada merely for transporting constitutionally protected zines, similar to the pamphlets that prompted the press freedom clause.
The implications extend far beyond so-called "Antifa."
Heads up, Eridan and Feferi's plush campaigns are closing TOMORROW!
Don't forget to grab yourself a fishy friend before it's too late and they swim away! 🎣

Let there be as much outrage from politicians in Washington when kids go hungry as there is when I break bread with New Yorkers.
Hegseth -- like the president -- just doesn't think the press should provide scrutiny. They want the propaganda Hegseth's old colleagues do at Fox. And they hope that's what Ellison seizing CNN will do to that network. They don't believe in the 1st amendment. www.mediamatters.org/donald-trump...
In defending free speech, privacy, and the right of young people to access truthful information about themselves, Rep. Leigh Finke (leighfinke.bsky.social) was not radical—she was right. www.eff.org/deeplinks/2...
HOLY SHIT.
A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.
Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?
My gosh. The Israeli Defense Minister also openly says here that the role of the Israeli military's legal system is "to protect and safeguard" soldiers — not to hold them accountable, for instance, when they rape someone on camera:
israel is the #1 soldier for antisemitism. anything they can do to make jews less safe they will do
Tweet from Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz: Justice has been done. I welcome the decision of the Chief Military Prosecutor, Major General Itai Ofir, to close the Sde Teiman cases against IDF soldiers and to cancel the indictment against them. This trial was born in sin by the previous Military Advocate General, using a blood libel against IDF soldiers and criminal investigation methods, and I am glad that justice has been done and the trial has been canceled. The role of the IDF's legal system is to protect and safeguard IDF soldiers who engage heroically in war against cruel monsters, and not the rights of the terrorists of Hamas. I am convinced that the decision will lead to a new path.
The Defense Minister of Israel says it was "blood libel" to go after Israeli soldiers caught on camera raping a Palestinian.
Your senator is a greater threat to children than all the legal porn on the internet.
its only been like a week and this is already one of the stupidest things anyone's ever posted
An Oklahoma fire department turned down $250,000 from Google because they didn't want to betray public trust as Google tries to build a data center in their community.
The Rock Volunteer Fire Department chief got a standing ovation for speaking out against the data center.

"The US and its partners in the Gulf most likely burned through well over 1,000 PAC-3 interceptors alone. That’s almost twice the annual production of the weapons and more than the US and its allies have supplied to Ukraine since the Russian invasion four years ago, "

For months, we warned DOGE's access to Americans' private data was ripe for abuse. And here it is:
A former DOGE employee stole the Social Security numbers & personal info of over 500 MILLION Americans.
Musk, Trump, & their DOGE lackies must be made to answer for this, NOW.
Must-read thread from Sen. @chrismurphyct.bsky.social
Strongly encourage all academics, novelists, reporters, bloggers, whatever to just email this account and state that you want to opt out of this idiocy.
Overload them with emails and make them regret they ever tried this shit.

happy mar10 day! finally making more progress with b-sides design (bugs made this level take longer than expected). really happy with how this level turned out! ending is subject to change, but figured i'd post for the occasion :)
(this is a TAS, i'll RTA clear it later)
A DHS spokesperson told WIRED on Monday, “Any allegation that DHS adopted a policy making Privacy Threshold Analyses exempt from the Freedom of Information Act is FALSE.” Internal emails show otherwise. On December 3, the DHS Privacy Office announced a "major change" that required all future PTAs to carry a disclaimer marking them exempt from public release. The disclaimer reads in full: “This is a draft document that is pre-decisional, deliberative, and is designated For Official Use Only. It is subject to the deliberative process privilege and attorney client privilege. It is not to be released, shared, or distributed outside of authorized channels without prior consultation and approval from the Department of Homeland Security Privacy Office. Unauthorized disclosure may result in administrative, civil, or criminal penalties.”
DHS's press office straight up lied about this. But they didn't know I had receipts.
Scoop: DHS ousted multiple privacy officers at CBP after they questioned orders to purposely mislabel records about government surveillance to prevent their release under FOIA.
Politically, this is incredibly stupid, but as a policy matter it’s also incredibly stupid.
The Democrats!
