Tip A4. At least I wouldn't feel like I was missing out as much as with the Tip 964.

God that purple Z4 is so good. Happy New Year!
But...World Rally Xperimental...it says it right there... ๐
A Merry Probemas to all who celebrate! ๐
Thanks for the input! After looking into the car for the last couple days I'm feeling less scared and more excited. This is such a special car, I think I'm willing to deal with a little bit of potential BS. We'll see how I feel mid-2026. ๐
Journalists certainly love them!
It just looks ready to pounce!
The GR Yaris is so sweet! If that were available in the US it would be my preference. So much more handsome.
Yeah I'm not opposed to used cars, just used performance cars with questionable reliability.
That being said, if any WCBS brethren are selling one mid-2026, hit me up. ๐
I do wish they still offered the blue color. Currently it's only white, black, grey, and red. And there's absolutely no chance I'd touch a used one.
It's the high-strung engine and the poor Toyota warranty service that scare me. I previously had a 2nd gen BRZ and saw the GR86 guys getting screwed by Toyota. The GR Corolla subreddit isn't giving me a ton of confidence.

Perhaps I'm channelling my white trash ancestors, but I've started fantasizing about spending a cash settlement before I actually have it. What's the consensus on the GR Corolla and its 26.3 pounds of boost 3 years on?
My mom is constantly telling me who is divorced, addicted, or dead.
I don't believe in anything...karma, luck, God...but I have chills. I took a picture of an Outlander Ralliart and then turned the corner, not 200 feet away was a Montero on Golden State plates.
100% of the time. My parents' house is on a hill, so I was taught from a young age to set the brake. Then I had so many cars with manual transmissions that I never lost the habit.
Chevrolet Tracker
Interestingly, there is a post-Geo Chevrolet Tracker behind the E24. I saw it drive by moments later, but I didn't realize the Geo connection until just now.
Perhaps why I've only seen 3 Sprints in my life
This is Oakland, so anything smaller than 24" looks appropriate. ๐
Thanks for the BMW nomenclature education. My brother had an E46 with chrome before his ZHP with shadowline. ๐
Turbo Sprints are so cool, all the little touches and graphics. So was the Nova Twin Cam. The PrEOs were cooler than the Geos that followed.
What is the shadow line on the E24? And the wheels definitely look big in the picture. I didn't notice the size in person.

A beautiful end to an evening walk. Turbo Sprint (PrEO Metro) and a 635CSi.
Everything was so cool from start to finish. Thanks for setting this up!
My dad, my brother, and I are coming!
Thanks Matt! Congratulations to you as well! This all felt so scary at the beginning and I can't believe how far I've come in 16 months.
Champagne gold 2009 Toyota Sienna in a parking garage
Funny you mention that... ๐ค๐
I'm taking the bathroom door off the hinges ๐
I'll be there! I sold the BRZ, so I might be bringing up the rear in a Mazda 6. ๐
Thanks! That was definitely a big part of the appeal!

We are so back...
I'm excited to live by myself for the first time in 15 years ๐
I was taught this in high school in the 1900s. Do they no longer teach this?
