We entered in a little local schooling “arena eventing” show; basically just to get out for the first time after winter break. It was a mix of Showjumping/cross country jumps, but in an arena.

lol—Tbh like I could see this doing well if it just owned it being its own story. Plenty of stories are influenced by others—or were like fanfics of others—but can still be their own title; it just feels so hollow and disrespectful when comparing it directly to the book.

Like even if I wanted to accept this as a WILDLY loose “adaptation” as they want me to…….like who cares about the story now. Where’s the conflict. Why is this happening. You took out the heart and expect me to care about the frilly shiny “sexy stuff”. I’m too demi and neurodivergent for this
