What bothers me most is how openly anti-worker this move by Alamo Drafthouse is.
They say no one is being laid off right now. Fine. But replacing servers with mobile ordering immediately creates real instability for the employees whose livelihoods depend on those jobs.
Finally a reason to maybe watch this shite.
Replacing humans with phone ordering and calling it "progress."
