Also… I make a point of telling folks that dinosaurs aren’t mammals and they didn’t have hair.

Get this, then they point to Archaeopteryx or better yet a bald eagle and declare “that must be a mammal since it has hair”.

I feel like a lot of people are like “chickens are descendants of T. rex”.

Then I’m like bro, T. rex is a dead end. Dead and gone. But tiny theropods survived, persisted, and diversified.

The general public doesn’t seem to connect that ALL birds are dinosaurs. Not just chickens.

This bothers me.

I see a skilled person accused of being a traitor. And I suppose an argument can be made for that usage. But a different adjective for this same person could be opportunist… or even capitalist. Qualities seemingly near and dear to people making the accusation. Some get a pass and some don’t.

Boardercross is easily my favorite winter #Olympics sport. It’s fast paced and just looks like so much fun! I’d be awful at it I’m sure. Plus it scratches that BTTF 2 hoverboard itch.

Are the drone cameras at the #Olympics controlled by humans or are they automated?

Pro: Hard to capture these views any other way.

Con: annoying buzzing noise.

Pro: New way to appreciate skiing downhill at 90+ mph.

Con: Imagining nefarious means for employing this tech.
