We are currently reviewing the decision and will be providing updates in due course. This will involve reaching out to all Nottingham GPs to assess the level and quality of care provided and ensure adequate training is being provided and publishing a letter template to MPs calling for their support.

We urge more MPs & leaders to follow the examples of @nadiawhittomemp.bsky.social , @kateosbornemp.bsky.social , @alexsobel.co.uk & @sianberry.bsky.social in starting to push back against this clearly wrong decision & attitude to trans health care & continue to support trans people.

It is our opinion that this is an ideological decision with no clinical merit and one that will needlessly criminalise carers & parents that would seek adequate care for their children in the face of already abysmal service.

The news today of Health Secretary Wes Streeting’s decision to permanently ban Puberty Blockers for trans children is yet another disappointment & and attack on trans lives by this government.
