I find it weird how I'm fine with public speaking in front of people, but trying to talk to one stranger on the phone is difficult.

Locked room with a button. When pushed, a countdown starts (or restarts). At the end, the lights go out and the door just unlocks.

I'm also fond of 'leap of faith,' 'endure the flame' etc. style puzzles that force a char to act in a way that'd be illogical outside of a puzzle or challenge.

A pit with an invisible path across it that can only be seen by looking into the ethereal plane. A small gem in another part of the dungeon can reveal ethereal things in proximity, as a tool to help solve this in the event the party doesn't come up with their own solution. (Bag of flour maybe?)

What might help a bit: there's an option in preferences to "Add cel to frame when adding layer"

When you make a new layer or a group within an animation folder, it'll automatically go to the timeline, which might make it easier to drop preexisting frames in. Just make the folder first n drag + drop

It's meant to emulate traditional light tables and cel sheets. If more familiar with that process it'll feel a bit more logical.
But that's also the pain of adapting something digitally in a way that is too close to its traditional counterpart.

Her in-game art has that too, but it's also cause Zun kinda just draws chars and makes mistakes. In the games she's referred to once or twice specifically as a mouse though, and given her familiars she was clearly intended to be one.

Unlike crow vs raven where they ARE basically seen as the same thing linguistically, rat and mouse are actually distinct in JP/CN. While they use the same word, they usually will have an adjective to distinguish between them.
