The Senate must immediately return to Washington and use our Constitutional powers to pass a War Powers Resolution to stop this.
This war will not make us safer, nor will it help Americans afford groceries or health care or rent.

I'm honestly not sure what will happen when I renew my passport. I stopped trying to keep up with the news on that topic after I went and got a REALID drivers license to use in place of a passport for scenarios like domestic travel.
I live a very priviledged and insulated life for a trans person, but there are so many people who are exposed to way more than paper cuts during the witch hunts for the "evil trans".
Imagine that your drivers license is invalid tomorrow. Imagine that its possible every night when you go to bed.
I was originally thinking googly eyes, but now it might need to be racing stripes. Or googly eyes and racing stripes.
There's currently a tower of cabinets/boxes across the hallway with a small gap to pass by that I wasn't even positive it could fit through. I figured I'd tell it to vacuum the bedroom and see what would happen while mentally preparing myself for the robot carry of shame. But that champ made it.
I'm genuinely impressed by our new robot vacuum. We're mid-remodel and the map of the house changes each day with furniture and cabinet boxes being moved around. I wanted the bedroom cleaned - down the hall from the vacuum's home in my office.

I've seen some folks claiming to have shoe-horned the sqlproj SDK into VS2026 on DevComm but this is a happy accident, so ymmv but might be helpful? developercommunity.visualstudio.com/t/VisualStud...
Hi - not abandoned but no timeline to VS2026 support. VS Code now, SSMS soon, and based on interest maybe-to-likely VS in the future. aka.ms/sqlprojects-...
Am I understanding correctly that you're using the sqlproj unit test framework in VS?
Yep, it has a limited scope of useful scenarios. If you're interested in a fully pre-plan script vote/comment on this item - github.com/microsoft/Da...

Anti-ICE protesters fill the streets of downtown Minneapolis during an "ICE Out" rally on Jan. 23.

It's that point in the planning cycle when you look around at feature plans for this semester and take a deep sigh before moving on.
For @msnownews.bsky.social, I wrote an article about how ICE Watch is grounded in sociological theories of violence prevention.
The reality is that most men will only commit public violence in extremely specific scenarios and ICE Watch disrupts the conditions necessary for escalation.
My favorite part about technology is how it is infinitely vast and I will never be done learning.
Oooh, TIL. Worktrees would absolutely make it easier to "step out" to do something else in a repo when I also am working with an agent on a task.
An AI was (poorly) setup to assign work to people, and I do not have the patience for that kind of malpractice. If an AI is setup to scope work and propose it for further autonomous processing, great.
Do not use AI to add to the burdens of fellow humans.
The Minnesota Attorney General's Office is asking residents to share information about the actions of federal agents in Minnesota, including those from the Department of Homeland Security, that have affected them or someone close to them.
Walz: "What's happening in MN defies belief. News reports simply don't do justice to the level of chaos & disruption & trauma the federal govt is raining down... This long ago stopped being a matter of immigration enforcement. Instead, it's a campaign of organized brutality against the people of MN"
Law enforcement has more tools than ever to track your movements and access your communications. Hereβs how to protect your privacy if you plan to protest. www.wired.com/story/how-to...
The murder of Renee Good in Minnesota showcases how ICE has become a domestic terrorism group within the US. She did not need to die, her life did not need to end, and those cronies will continue their rampage until states intervene.
It's also been an opportunity to revamp my usual feeds and organize them a bit - is there anyone/anything I should make sure I'm following? Tech, news, hobbies, and more.
I've been consuming more via RSS the past 2 years - using newsboat and a rube-goldberg sync between machines. I loved it but now I'm trying Inoreader bc I wanted to read on mobile and have an easier time saving articles. For me RSS = less doom scrolling.
I might be weird but sometimes I relax by standing and listening to the hum/buzz of the yard.
