Klingon Diplomat: "There has been...an incident on Praxis...however everything is under control. We have no NEED for assistance! Obey treaty stipulations and remain OUTSIDE the neutral zone. This transmission ends...NOW!"
Screensaver: "Have a nice day!"

I always liked to believe the Klingon text on that screen said, "Have a nice day." Lol
A young girl uses an X-Ray Shoe-Fitting Machine in a store. Her mother peers through the viewing window, smiling at the bones in her daughter's irradiated feet. A suited man, possibly a shoe salesman, stands behind the machine.
A crowd of kids and teens stand around an X-Ray Shoe-Fitting Machine as a woman X-Rays her feet. A young man in white stands on the opposite side, his foot one the raised machine platform, exposing the bulge in his pants to an extra helping of radiation.
Old print advertisement for X-Ray Shoe-Fitting at Rochester Sample Shoe Store. It promotes the benefits of giving your child's tender foot proper shoes "for a lifetime of foot health and comfort." The drawing of a family standing around as their skirt-wearing daughter x-rays her feet appears as if they're all glowing with sweet, sweet radiation.

The first half of the 20th Century introduced us to the wonders of radioactive technology. People rushed to embrace it.
It was the future.
In shoe stores you could x-ray your foot for a "perfect fitting shoe." While dosage levels were mostly minimal to customers, not for store employees.
Dang for a moment I thought this was a real picture of the CSM in orbit. Well done.
I've seen this pilot a thousand times and I gotta tell ya, I probably would have made a bunch of babies for the Talosians with this lady. I'm not proud of that, but it's honest.
Reminds me of Wall of Blossoms! β€οΈ
Your artwork has always reminded me of Phil and Kaja.

Thanks for the advice! I really like the idea of drawing the bard first. I'm not a good artist like you but I have a good imagination so visualizing my ideal "bard" is a great starting point!
@jvwest.bsky.social have you ever made a "black Pudding" version of the bard class? If so can you share and if not how would you go about it? I really dig the way you do classes.
He only works in outer space, folks.
This is such and obvious joke about his Holodeck Brahms that I am shocked I've never heard it before. Regardless, bravo. Take this π
Ah the good ole existential crisis.
"Can I overload the magic in my spellbook and cause it to explode?"
Yes but you have to be in contact to do it, and while it will deal tons of damage, you will be blown to atoms.
100% I also like the idea that most anything is possible at a cost. Often a high cost.
"I failed my save, but isn't there any way to break the charm?"
Yes, but it will break your mind to do it. You'll lose 1d4 INT permanently.
It's wild that the response was not:
1. Awareness and change,
2. Denial and double down,
But instead, "It is! Thanks for noticing!"

Lol. LMAO.
I think I'm one of the only people on earth who preferred 3.0 to 3.5. however if I made a game from that principle I'd make the changes I think it needed too.
