Fred Haise was shown as being caught off guard by the manual bur in Apollo 13 when, in reality, he'd called it just over two hours after the explosion. There were so many things he called SO far in advance of it becoming an issue!

Just uploaded a 2.5 hour video that I'm SUPER excited to finally share only to have it stalled by a copyright claim... on NASA footage that's definitely in the public domain! I'm still hoping to have this out before the Holiday but now who knows. Anyways, hopefully a new long form video is coming!

Got lots of questions this week about how Nixon could possibly call the Moon for the famous chat with Buzz and Neil, so I made a quick little explainer!
I couldn't leave this one alone. Like it seems silly and harmless, but this is such a slippery slope in to damaging conspiracy theories like anti-vax and climate change denial, so I'm going to keep explaining it in the hopes people start actually thinking about things.
New book in the works so decided to share a little progress along the way with weekly updates! Still not talking specifics, but I will say this is an endlessly fascinating process.
