finally got a 35mm SLR that's NOT from fuckin 1975. It's a Canon EOS 7, and i got it for around $150 which is a steal since it also comes with a battery grip. Finally I'm coming back to film.
finally got me a light for scanning my film, but this one's an rgb light. Should help a TON with color separation.
update: JK it's coming a day after me birthday :)
