Game 36: Sheffield United 1-1 West Brom, Bramall Lane, Championship. Good grief, what a snoozer of a game.

Never bought an Early Access game before but Slay The Spire 2? Heck yes provide me with early access
Game 35: Sheffield FC 0-0 Knaresborough Town, Coach & Horses, NCEL Premier. Archetypal "how did that finish goalless" match as Sheffield botch multiple close range chances and the visitors hit the bar twice. Decent game.
Ah lovely stuff, a worthy successor to Turner's!
friend sent this over from the other place and unfortunately I did laugh
Really enjoyed it. Also add it to the list of beautifully shot horror films in the last decade or so! Longlegs, Strange Darling, Us, Nope, Barbarian, the Substance, X...
Finally watched Weapons, wowser what a ride
"played" is probably a more accurate way of putting it
Was this the game where Bradford booted a clearance straight into the referee's back to put Taylor in on goal?
(To say nothing of Will Jacks, of course)
Rehan Ahmed that is some cameo my son. Spot the point he came to the crease:
Occam's razor: these people are less intelligent than you'd like to think
Red Dwarf: Beat the Geek / DVD / BBC / 2006
RIP Rob Grant - Red Dwarf (the show and especially the books, which I've read and re-read countless times basically since I was a kid) will always be one of my all-time favourites.
Bleeeeeak
Game 34: Sheffield United 1-2 Coventry City, Bramall Lane, Championship. Watchable game, lots of shots from United but not as clinical as the visitors.
FINALLY won a run of this with the Order (second faction). Excellent game IMO
Game 33: Sheffield United 2-1 Sheffield Wednesday. An incredible confluence of circumstances needed to line up today for us to relegate Wednesday, and we bloody did it. This is history.
Just win, baby!
I'm really into it! It took me a run or two but I'm now pretty hooked.
The only drawback I've found so far is I can't stop singing "Drop the Duchy on the left hand side" in my head while I play
Tried Drop Duchy on a whim having never even heard of it before and it's really good! Bit of Tetris, bit of city-building, bit of deck-building. I'm a bit stuck (skill issue) with the second faction but it's a lovely chill game with plenty of depth.
Year 43:
I don't know if this is good or bad (it feels fundamentally unfair to me, but I'm not an elite football coach). But I do think that familiarity matters a lot when you're on the fringes. Course it's like the "how can I get experience without you giving me a job" quandary
I'm not disagreeing here FWIW - but maybe it's simply that she's more of a known quantity within the England setup (u23s etc) = greater visibility to Wiegman etc = next player up as a squad selection? See it with men's squads too, it can be hard to get into that "inner circle" as a fringe player.
Me playing Caves of Qud for the first time last night
We go again later
