while I am thinking aloud: next I need to update the backpiece too, possibly extend it. I did a scrappy leg design once but I don't think I'll keep it on Soh, maybe only when I can think of something better

I also redid some areas on Soh's existing sleeve. Mainly the gakubori(background frame) on the upper arm and chest areas-- the old one didn't wrap properly and now that I have new knowledge I can't just leave it alone

I've been sitting on it awhile but I figured out what I wanted to do for Soh's other arm sleeve. Adapting the existing armour for the shoulder cape into a wraparound petal motif was the eureka moment
