Started the UF’s Coffey Residency for Book Arts this week. Focusing on the Floridan Aquifer, I dove into vintage maps, postcards, water surveys, histories of Florida’s indigenous tribes, origins of the Ponce de León Fountain of Youth myth, and 19th-century mermaid tourism. Also, sea monsters!

The bird prints from the Flock workshops in Lincoln, Nebraska arrived yesterday! I was reminded of what fun we had making them over the course of a few days. Thanks to the Audubon Society and Constellation Studios for supporting this project.
