In grad school we were always told Times NR for journal submissions and book publishers often specify it in the formatting/submissions instructions on their websites, but that’s in the humanities…I’m an Avenir guy myself—seems ideal for screen and printing to my eye.

That’s shocking and a shame, and I really wonder how termination was justified. It couldn’t have been money since we’ve had all these tax windfalls lately…I think this country really has a problem understanding how important its image is in the world, and how closely it is tied to the written word.
